REGIONAL SALES MANAGER (INDIRECT RETAIL)

Oversee the regional sales operations and development of the mobile phone business in a designated region of Algeria. The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving sell-out performance, expanding market share through indirect retail partners, and translating field insights into strategic business actions. This position involves leading a team of Area Supervisors, strengthening distributor relationships, and executing regional strategies that align with national sales objectives.

Le profil demandé

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields;
- Minimum 6 years of experience in sales, preferably including at least 3 years in a managerial position within the telecom, mobile, or FMCG industry;
- Proven track record in channel sales, distributor management, and retail development;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data into actionable strategies;
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills;
- Proficiency in sales forecasting, budget management, and KPI monitoring;
- Fluent in English (working language) ;
- High adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive market environment.

Missions :
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of Area Supervisors ;
  • Cascade national sales targets and define clear KPIs (Sell-in, Sell-out, Distribution, Visibility, etc.);
  • Monitor team performance, analyze results, and implement corrective actions when needed ;
  • Conduct field visits with Area Supervisors to assess market execution and provide coaching ;
  • Develop quarterly and annual business plans aligned with national objectives.
  • Identify new retail partners, growth areas, and untapped markets within the region ;
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and coordinate with supply chain and demand planning teams ;
  • Manage and optimize the regional trade marketing budget to ensure maximum ROI ;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and retail partners ;
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with top distributors to align on performance and strategic objectives ;
  • Act as an escalation point for resolving complex issues between the field team, distributors, and retailers ;
  • Analyze sell-in and sell-out data, market share trends, and competitor activities to identify improvement opportunities ;
  • Prepare and present regional performance reports to senior management with action plans ;
  • Consolidate field feedback to build a clear understanding of regional challenges and opportunities ;
  • Adapt national trade marketing and promotional campaigns to the regional market ;
  • Measure the effectiveness of trade marketing activities and propose improvement actions ;
  • Ensure optimal allocation and visibility of POSM materials across all retail outlets.
